                                MEDICAL DIRECTOR

                                ANAV Tribal Health Clinic is accepting applications for a Medical Director.

                                Requirements:
                                *Graduate from an Accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy
                                *Possess a Current California License to Practice Medicine or Osteopathy 
                                *Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Other Closely Related Primary Care Specialty
                                *Knowledge of State and Federal Laws Pertaining to Public Health and Managed Care Systems

                                FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANT    Annual Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (DOE)

                                ANAV Tribal Health Clinic is accepting applications for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.

                                Requirements:
                                *Currently Licensed with the California State Board of Registered Nursing of Medical Board of California
                                *Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant (National Certification Preferred / Master's Degree Required for Nurse Practitioner Applicants)
                                *Minimum of One (1) Year Experience as an FNP or PA
                                *Possess Valid Driver's License, Good Driving Record and Insurable by the Tribe's Insurance Carrier
                                *Willing to Function According to Standing Orders Developed in Consultation with the Medical Director
                                *Proof of Documentation of Immunity to Measles, Rebella and or Become Immunized with the Recommended Vaccines; Including Hepatitis B (Annual TB Testing Required)
                                *Must Adhere to Confidentiality and HIPPA Policies
                                *Must Successfully Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening Test and be Willing to Submit to a Criminal Background Check

                                Requirements:
                                *Certified Medical Assistant Preferred; Comparable Experience and/or Education Considered (Obtain Certification Expected within 6-Months of Hire)
                                *High School Diploma or GED
                                *Community Health Representative Certification or Obtainability within 1-Year of Hire
                                *Familiarity with American Indian Culture and Problems Facing Indian Families
                                *Posses a Valid California Driver's License with Good Driving Record as Evidenced by Insurability with Tribe's Insurance Carrier
                                *Basic Computer Skills; Including Microsoft Office Components
                                *Basic Office Skills; Including Typing, Telephone, Filing, and Copiers
                                *Ability to Read and Interpret Documents such as: Safety Rules, Operating and Maintenance Instructions and Procedure Manuals

                                Requirements:
                                *High School Diploma or Equivalency
                                *Previous Experience in Contract Health Services
                                *Basic Office Skills to Include: Tele-communications, Typing, Telephone, Filing, Keyboard, Ten-key Adding Machine, Copiers, Computers and Associated Word Programs
                                *Basic Knowledge of Resource Patient Management System (RPMS)
                                *Basic Knowledge of Insurance Billing & Payment Procedures
                                *Working Knowledge of the IDC-9-CM/CPT Coding System
                                *Basic Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology
